“Our store is full of used and new items,” states co-owner Krista Jaimes.
“Both Carol and I have lived in the community for over 20 years and we enjoy meeting and talking with our customers. The Painted Shutter & Co. is a friendly atmosphere and the perfect place to shop.”
Peruse down Main Street and enjoy all that downtown Newhall has to offer. “Our vintage/antique store fits with the revitalization of downtown Newhall,” states Krista. “We wanted to open our store here and be a part of saving the downtown/hometown feeling you get when shopping in Newhall.”
With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Krista and Carol bring a wealth of knowledge and creativity to the store. Carol’s training in various techniques of paint by American Paint Co. will allow customers to gain a greater understanding of the products. Carol offers workshops that give an opportunity to the participants to experience the chalk/clay/mineral based paints. Krista, who also owns Alpine Shutters Window Fashions, has been selling home decor items for well over two decades. Together they are a great team and are excited to share their expertise with the community at The Painted Shutter & Co.
