Thursdays at Newhall, presented by Galpin Subaru, includes the following must-enjoy events this June.

Interactive art installations and themed galleries are featured on the first Thursday of the month, June 5, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Art SLAM.  June’s event will feature an open-air gallery between Market Street and 6th Street, bringing together an array of artists celebrating garlic!  The pungent, spicy flavor of garlic is a fundamental component of most dishes, from savory garlic pasta to cheesy garlic bread.  Attendees will experience a plethora of culinary demonstrations, free tastings, and samplings of basil, garlic oil, and rosemary garlic blends that will tantalize anyone’s taste buds.  Take the opportunity to experience classics and delicacies of traditional garlic flavor in new and exciting ways in Old Town Newhall.
On the second Thursday of the month, June 12, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. between Lyons and 9th Street, the Ford Theatre Foundation and the City of Santa Clarita, with support from the James Irvine Foundation, will showcase Japanese Folk Dance and Music with Christine Inouye and Minyo Station.  Dance to the beat, play a new instrument and experience something unexpected at these free, interactive events.  All ages and skill levels are welcome.
Finally, you won’t want to miss SENSES on the third Thursday, June 19 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. as thousands enjoy a free, British Invasion themed block party.  Grab your hippest Mod fashions and join friends to enjoy a live band, food trucks, themed activities, contests and more.
