It was a beautiful afternoon as the Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays Santa Clarita Valley (PFLAG SCV) Gay-Straight Alliances at the Hart District and College of the Canyons and community members gathered for the First Annual Give ‘Em Hope BBQ that took place on Saturday, May 24.
Hundreds of community members enjoyed a day of delicious food, arts & crafts, photo booths and more, all to celebrate diversity and honor Harvey Milk. Valencia High School band also performed for the crowds along with TimPermanent and Landon Cole. The Harvey Milk stamp was also unveiled by the postmaster.
