Developing Good Character
Traits in children and teens begin early. Inner Circle Foster Care and Adoption Services gives foster families and preparing adoptive homes the training that helps adults recognize the importance of teaching, modeling, and encouraging good character.
We ask families to introduce children to their community and civic participation.
We ask our families to inspire children with books and stories about heroes and heroines. We design field trips and support the arts and sporting activities. We teach families about the environment, remaining healthy, and making good decisions. Theatre, games, skill building assignments and service projects can be used to teach children and teens to be courageous, confident, and compassionate individuals.
