The Canyon Theatre Guild is proud to present one of the most popular and successful musicals in recent memory, Forever Plaid. This deliciously goofy revue centers on four young, eager male singers killed in a car crash in the 1950’s on the way to their first big concert, and now miraculously they’ve been revived for the posthumous chance to fulfill their dreams and perform the show that never was.

Singing in the closest of harmony, squabbling boyishly over the smallest intonations and executing their charmingly outlandish choreography with over-zealous precision, the “Plaids” are a guaranteed smash, with a program of beloved songs and delightful patter that keeps audiences rolling in the aisles when they’re not humming along to some of the great nostalgic pop hits of the 1950’s.
Performances of Forever Plaid are Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m., July 26, August 2, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23. Sunday matinees are at 2 p.m. July 27, August 3, 10, 17, 24, on the Canyon Theatre Guild stage in Old Town Newhall. Tickets will go on sale for season subscribers July 1. Sales for general public begin July 8. Adult tickets are $17-$19, and Juniors/Seniors are $15 to $17.
