Conveniently located in the Stater Brothers shopping center on Sierra Highway, ZingGa Korean Grill is a modern take on the local eatery, run from an open grill and prep area resembling a family kitchen. With a simple menu of familiar Korean BBQ favorites from Grilled Entrees and subtle twists on tradition under the House Specialties, ZingGa brings to Canyon Country the time-tested tenets of Korean cooking, a cuisine based on naturally combining food staples, spices, and seasonings to create a healthy, more appetizing and enjoyable dining experience.

Popular dishes such as the Black Angus Rib-Eye, Short Ribs, and the comforting DDuk Galbi, a seldom seen Korean spin on meatloaf made from chopped beef, demonstrate that ZingGa’s Korean fare – traditionally based on the principle of combining complementary ingredients for flavor, nutrition and presentation – doesn’t have to be boring.
Entrees start with quality meats or fresh soy protein tofu teamed with meticulously prepared tenderizing marinades and sauces. Prominent side dishes such as Kimchi and Spicy Salad are also created through a combination of ripening marinade or dressing. Rounding out the popular menu items are Chicken Breast and Chicken Wings, grilled or deep-fried to perfection; seasoned Grilled Tofu for non-meat eaters; Lettuce Wraps with a choice of beef, pork or chicken; Bulgogi Tacos of either barbeque beef or spicy pork; and a multi-culti version of Korea’s beloved mélange, Bibimpap, mixed vegetables with meat (or tofu), Tamago egg, over rice laced with a naturally fermented sauce of red pepper, soybean, sweet rice and sea salt.
Owner Brad Song’s family has 30 years of restaurant experience in Korea and the United States, having developed their own blend of cooking style and recipes based on fresh ingredients they source locally. Prepped daily in an open kitchen, the process takes considerable time with attention given to labor-intensive demands typical of Korean cuisine. The methods of preparing food take advantage of the area’s wealth of fresh produce and ingredients, and with a nod to customers’ expanding palates, ZingGa adds multicultural flourishes, such as tacos, tempura Fried Green Bean and Egg Drop Soup, alongside the traditional Korean fare.
With ingredients rich in antioxidants, beta carotene and capsaicin, Koreans often refer to their cuisine as ‘mind-healing’ food. A fun fact: capsaicin, the active ingredient in Korea’s spicier food, activates the body’s endorphins, giving diners a pleasurable feeling of well-being, and helping heal the mind while making the body feel at its best.
Good taste and good for you – experience Korean cooking the ZingGa way.
