Summer has arrived! It’s time to enjoy the new summer art show, Summertime Blues, by the Santa Clarita Artist’s Association. All things summer and blue will be on display. The show will run from July 11 to August 31.
“Come enjoy our Show Premiere on Friday, July 11 and our Wine Reception on Friday, August 1 at our beautiful new location with food, drink, and wonderful musical entertainment. Other musical events will be ongoing. All events are from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.,” said Norma Warden, Gallery Chairperson. “We’ve moved to a spacious new gallery at 110 Town Center Drive (across from Sisley’s). Out for dinner or a movie, stop by and enjoy the art! “
The show will feature three local artists: Sandy Fisher, Gary Friedman, and Norma Warden. The gallery also features jewelry, cards, small paintings and matted art priced under $100. SCAA is located at Town Center Drive, Westfield Mall, Valencia, Suite 110. Hours are Friday and Saturday 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 1p.m. to 7 p.m.
“This year is the 25th anniversary of the SCAA. We started small but now have over 130 members working in all media. Our events throughout the year include the Art Classic in October, this Gallery and other venues in our community. Our goal is to make visual art available to our neighbors,” said Warden.
