The Walk to End Alzheimer’s needs your help! We are looking for people to start or join a walk team to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association. This is a very important cause as Alzheimer’s is the sixth leading cause of death in the US and providing care for a person with Alzheimer’s is very expensive.
The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Walk to End Alzheimer’s unites the entire community — family, friends, co-workers, social and religious groups and more — in a display of combined strength and dedication in the fight against this devastating disease.
When you participate in Walk, your fundraising dollars fuel the Alzheimer’s Association programs of care, support and research. In addition, your actions help to change the level of Alzheimer’s awareness in your community. At the event, you have the option to support or honor someone you know personally who has struggled with Alzheimer’s.
