The community gathered at Westfield Valencia town Center to honor those who fell victim during the 9/11 attacks. HandsOn Santa Clarita presented a Night of Remembrance on Thursday, September 11 in the roundabout in front of the mall.
People were able to meet local military and first responders, enjoyed food vendors, exhibitors and get a hands on experience with first responder and military vehicles. At 7 p.m. there was a ceremony to honor those who died on 9/11.
HandsOn Santa Clarita’s mission is to assist in meeting community needs through volunteerism and service, connecting individuals, groups, and businesses to critical issues facing the community; allowing them to make a difference every day.
