Through several communications tools, including ConnectEd phone and email system, website posts, Infinite Campus, eNotify emails, Facebook, Twitter and the just launched SchoolWay mobile app, the District is reaching out and sharing information through technology and social media like never before. The Hart School District serves nearly 23,000 students in 16 schools in grades seven through 12.
The District’s ConnectEd system is updated every school year when parents provide information on their student registration cards. Phone numbers and email addresses are securely maintained in a system for school sites to send important messages and announcements as well as from the district office. This can come in the form of phone or email and in case of an emergency, an administrator can send a message to thousands of parents all within seconds.
Infinite Campus is an online portal for parents to stay involved with their students through information posted by teachers, including grades, assignments and homework reminders. Your student has access to this portal and can help you sign up and review the data included in this portal. The District Office utilizes an email notification system, which offers parents and community members the opportunity to read news releases that are generated by the district regarding upcoming events, announcements, construction and modernization projects, board actions and other important district news. Just recently, the Hart School District launched a mobile app, to communicate with parents, students, teachers and the community directly to smart phones. Minimum day reminders, holiday breaks, sports scores and teacher messages are a few aspects of the many on this mobile app that parents can look forward to in the coming months.
