During this month of thankfulness, Koinonia Family Services would like to take a moment to reflect on the many things we are grateful for. Koinonia is first and foremost thankful for all our foster and adoptive parents (resource parents), past and present, who have provided safe, caring, and nurturing homes for children in need of temporary and permanent placement.

Secondly, we are thankful for the time, energy, and emotion that our resource parents have poured into our placed children. We are also thankful for all the parents who have been touched by the OneMore program at Real Life Church, and jumped in with both feet to help a child or children in need of a home. Koinonia is thankful that our resource parents share their journey with us and allow us to become a part of their lives.
If you have ever thought about becoming a foster parent or adopting a child through foster care, Koinonia is able to help you take the next step on your journey. Being a Koinonia resource parent means you will be a part of an organization with very high standards and expertise to help vulnerable children and the families that care for them. There is a tremendous need for resource parents in the Santa Clarita and San Fernando valleys, and Koinonia is happy to announce its expansion into these areas. Please partner with us and, together, we can bring hope to a new generation.
