The 31st Annual Hart Rampage Marching Band Field Show Tournament is coming to College of the Canyons Cougar Stadium, November 1. This daylong band competition is hosted by the award-winning Hart Regiment Band & Colorguard, of Wm. S. Hart High School. Hart, was named a 2013 California Distinguished School and one of only 8 high schools in the state to be recognized for its Exemplary Arts Education.

Under the direction of Anthony Bailey, Hart Regiment has a long history of excellence. With their new show entitled Royals, they won all Sweepstakes and caption awards at their first competition of the season, the Royal Classic Field Show Tournament, judged by the Southern California School Band and Orchestra Association (SCSBOA).  Hart Regiment has held the SCSBOA Championship title in their division an unprecedented 10 years.
Rampage 2014 has a spectacular line-up of 35 bands from Southern California and the Southwest, including bands from all six Hart District high schools- Canyon, Golden Valley, Saugus, Valencia, West Ranch- and, of course, Hart, all taking the field for this highly anticipated SCSBOA competition.  Performances begin following the 9:45 a.m. opening of the Star-Spangled Banner, and continue throughout the day. There will be food vendors, merchandise booths and raffles for a variety of prizes , including amusement park passes. The evening concludes with the popular mass drumline and a special guest performance by the Pasadena City College Marching Lancers, the official band of the Tournament of the Roses Parade. The awards ceremony is scheduled for 9:15 p.m.
