It’s true! In just 10 weeks, you can be earning a paycheck in a new, rewarding career as a dental assistant. At Santa Clarita School of Dental Assisting (SCSDA), we provide a focused and fun training environment using the latest dental technology. Why is dental assisting a good career? It’s projected to be one of the fastest-growing occupations over the next decade! The Labor Bureau reports that employment in Dental Assisting is expected to increase by about 31 percent from 2010 to 2020, much faster than the average for all occupations. And there are plenty of growth opportunities – many dentists, dental hygienists, treatment coordinators, senior dental assistants and office managers begin their careers as dental assistants.
