Bibimbap is a signature Korean dish. The word literally means “mixed rice.” Bibimbap is served as a bowl of warm rice topped with sautéed and seasoned vegetables and chili sauce (gochujang) or soy sauce. An egg and thin sliced meat are common additions. The ingredients are stirred together thoroughly just before eating. In Korea, Jeonju, Jinju, and Tongyeong are especially famous for their versions of Bibimbap. In 2011, it was listed at number 40 on the World’s 50 most delicious foods readers’ poll compiled by CNN Travel.

ZingGa Casual BBQ serves a multi-culti version of Bibimbap, sautéed and seasoned vegetables with beef, pork, chicken or tofu, Tamago egg (steamed sweet egg), over rice laced with a naturally fermented sauce of red pepper, soybean, sweet rice and sea salt. The methods of preparing food take advantage of the area’s wealth of fresh produce and ingredients, and with a nod to customers’ expanding palates, ZingGa also adds multicultural flourishes, such as tacos, tempura Fried Green Bean and Egg Drop Soup, alongside the traditional Korean fare.
