The evening sky lit up as beautiful lanterns illuminated the night while friends and family showed their support for cancer survivors and loved ones lost to blood cancer at this year’s Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Walk. Teams of families, friends, co-workers and local and national corporations came together to raise funds and bring hope to people battling blood cancer on Saturday, November 8 at Bridgeport Park in Valencia.
To date, the Santa Clarita Light the Night Walk has raised $95,000, but the fundraising for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society will continue through the end of the year.
