Roll out the red carpet, the new year is finally here! Last year was full of star-studded encounters and I am looking forward to many more this year! Thank you for all your emails, it’s always fun to read about your celebrity sightings. I hope you had a wonderful holiday season.
Speaking of the holidays, just last month KTLA Morning News reporter Gayle Anderson was on location in Canyon Country for a holiday donation drive. Gayle has been a reporter for the KTLA Morning News since 1993 and has quite the fan base with her fun loving personality and zest for reporting. Gayle, adorned in full costume, was kind enough to snap a photo with Santa Clarita resident, Jeannette Gutierrez.
You may recognize our next celebrity as he played the role of adorable Theodore “Beaver” Cleaver, in the popular television sitcom series, Leave It to Beaver. Actor Jerry Mathers entered the hearts and homes of America in the late 1950’s and the show was an immediate success. Jerry retired from acting to concentrate on high school and joined the Air Force Reserve in 1966. In the 1980’s, Jerry reunited with the cast to film Still the Beaver and has continued acting ever since. He and his wife Teresa were kind enough to take a photo with Santa Clarita resident Jill Bondy at Circle of Hope, Inc.’s Christmas in New York event on the backlot of the CBS Studio Center.
It’s a new year, Santa Clarita, so get those cameras ready. You never know which star you’re going to run into.
