Z-Club Highlights by Tyler Peckham – “Men on the Front Lines of New Age Feminism”. New Age feminism has more male participation than any previous feminist wave, with approximately 57 percent Saugus High School students and teachers considering themselves feminists. The Z Club has a 2:1 female to male ratio; these young men have strong core beliefs of gender equality. Vice President Russell Thomas stated, “Holding men and women to different standards in this day and age is unacceptable!” Through men like these, the feminist movement is progressing and using it as an effective tactic.
Making feminism more gender-neutral diminishes the idea of it being a radical movement.
