Creative Years Infant Center & Preschool hosted its annual Art Night event at the school on March 11.  This is an art show featuring the children’s masterpieces. Families get to come and explore the beautiful showcase in which the children take great pride.
Creative Years thrives with hands-on projects resulting in a great learning process.

Every piece of art made at Creative Years is one of a kind. Children feel successful when they are able to accomplish a masterpiece on their own and just the way they like it. The possibilities are endless when it comes to creative art.
Art is very beneficial to the growth and development of young children. Fine and gross motor skills are put to good use.  Many projects help to strengthen children’s small muscles.  Molding clay, painting, stamping and squeezing glue are just a few ways to allow children to exercise their small muscles.  When children are given the opportunity to easel paint or color, their whole body is used in the process.  Physical coordination develops as a result of children learning to use their large muscles in harmony. All this is essential for a simple task such as correctly holding a pencil. Not to mention that while creating art children often create stories of their designs and that leads to expressive language development. These are just some of the benefits of children’s expressive art.
