After a five-year absence, Santa Clarita Ballet Company is delighted to share their Tea & Toeshoes mother/daughter tea with a new generation to support the opening of their performance season. This year, Santa Clarita Ballet Company is honored to sponsor Santa Clarita Single Mother’s Outreach during their Tea & Toeshoes event and Little Mermaid premiere in June. Better than ever, Tea & Toeshoes is the not-to-be-missed springtime event in Santa Clarita.
On Saturday, May 16, overlooking the Valencia Country Club fairway, guests will be greeted by Fairy Princess Tawny Gentry and indulge in the elegance of a high tea with whimsical touches and live entertainment. Dainty sandwiches, tea, and scones will be served by beautiful, fully costumed ballerinas. Everyone should don their prettiest hats for a Best Hat Competition. Children will enjoy a ballet lesson and party favors. Emcee Karyn Marchus will guide a silent auction and raffle, featuring coveted entertainment industry and professional sports items. Princess Tables are available for those desiring enhanced service, premiere views of our performance stage, and a special thank you gift for their generous support. To complete the afternoon, the Company’s advanced dancers will dazzle with an exclusive performance. Silent auction, raffle, and Princess Table proceeds will benefit future Santa Clarita Ballet Company productions.
In their efforts to increase arts awareness, The Santa Clarita Ballet Company will donate Tea & Toeshoes tickets and 100 Little Mermaid seats to Santa Clarita Single Mother’s Outreach. “There is no better way to provide arts education than by creating access to experiences like Tea & Toeshoes and Little Mermaid. Tea & Toeshoes is a unique opportunity to see high caliber ballet intimately, and it’s our pleasure to sponsor Single Mother’s Outreach this year. Everyone who attends will have a lovely afternoon,” said Corinne Glover, Santa Clarita Ballet Company Director.
Tea & Toeshoes ticket sales begin April 1st at Santa Clarita Ballet. Adult tickets $65. Children ages three through 12 are $55. A limited number of Princess Tables, seating parties of 10, are available for $100 per seat; groups are encouraged to reserve tables early as we will sell out.
