Summer Camp for preschool age children should have exciting activities that create lasting memories. Creative Years has a camp for ages two to six with weekly themes. Each week the curriculum is filled with fun and educational activities based around that theme: Camping, Animals, Mud & Goo, Dinosaurs, Winter in July, Pirates & Princesses, Space and Wet & Wild.
All field trips are brought into the school to ensure the safety of your child and for them to feel secure in familiar surroundings. A sense of security and familiarity is important for your young child, especially if this is their first experience in school.
Age appropriate activities are implemented and a versatile curriculum is planned so that your child will experience learning through “hands-on” and creative activities. Weekly plans also include the skills that children have been working on throughout the regular school year. It is important that all children going to kindergarten or 1st grade retain skills they have been learning throughout the year; socially and scholastically.
Outside is a perfect place to learn. Under the outdoor canopies, students are shaded while doing science experiments, playing in the snow, squishing mud, digging for dinosaur bones and flying to space. All campers have a wonderful time learning with their friends while at camp.
