Hundreds gathered at Hyatt Regency Valencia to honor New York Giants running back and Super Bowl Champion Shane Vereen at the SCV Chamber of Commerce luncheon.
The Valencia High School graduate was greeted by Valencia High cheerleaders and guests enjoyed tunes from the Valencia High choir. Shane talked about his career, Super Bowl championship and family life in a Q & A session with ABC 7’s Curt Sandoval. His mother and father, along with Chicago Bears safety and brother, Brock Vereen, were there to cheer him on. Mayor Marsha McLean presented Shane a key to the city along with many other awards and accolades that followed. We featured Shane Vereen on the cover of the April/May issue of élite Magazine.
