On March 12, community members gathered to enjoy an evening of charitable shopping hosted by Ro, Ma Jewelers and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to benefit LLS Man & Woman of the Year Campaign. Shoppers had the opportunity to participate in exclusive raffle prizes presented by Tag Heuer, Mont Blanc, and Raymond Weil.
Tickets were available online and in the store. With about 1.2 million people in the U.S. facing leukemia, lymphoma, or myeloma, research and eventually a cure, are ever more pressing. Donations are always welcomed, every cent counts!
“Our event was a huge success,” states Ramzi Azar, owner of Ro, Ma Jewelers. “We sold tickets for three raffle prizes that included a Raymond Weil watch, a Tag Heuer watch, and a Mont Blanc Pen. Through our raffle sales and proceeds from sales that evening, we raised close to $15,000!” One hundred percent of the money raised was given to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. “This event will be an annual one for us,” says Ramzi.
