After a two-day event full of live music, walking, camping, and fundraising, American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life SCV raised over $3290,000 to date, this year.   With over 100 teams and 1,426 participants, it was a huge success!

This year’s event theme, “Back to the Cure”, celebrated 30 years of Relay for Life and took place at Central Park on May 16 and went until May 17 with teams from all over SCV showing their support and honoring those currently battling cancer, survivors, and those who have lost their battle. Funds raised through Relay For Life support the American Cancer Society’s efforts to make this cancer’s last century and to provide much needed services to people fighting cancer in the SCV.
