Oakmont Supports Alzheimer’s Association

On Saturday, August 30 Oakmont of Santa Clarita held an event onsite at their location 28650 Newhall Ranch Road in Valencia for the Alzheimer’s Association.
It was a beautiful day and it was well attended by the community and Oakmont depositor’s and their families. Food trucks that donated back to the cause were Kona Ice and Keep on Grubbin’. Music was performed by John Pramick.
Face painting and a bounce house for kids helped to round out this event. Raffle prizes were donated by Marsha of Farmer’s Insurance and High Kicks Martial Arts.  Team Oakmont helped to raise over  $450 for the Alzheimer’s Association.
On September 20, the 3rd annual Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s took place at Bridgeport Park with over 800 residents from Santa Clarita participating in this upbeat and inspiring  event that helps to raise awareness  and funds to fight this disease.
