9/11 Evening Commemoration Ceremony
HandsOn Santa Clarita hosted the 3rd Annual 9/11 Day of Service & Remembrance on Friday, September 11th at the Westfield Valencia Town Center at 5 pm. This event allowed individuals to pay tribute to the victims of the September 11 attacks. There were military personnel and local first responders available to talk to people. There was lots of entertainment such as a drum circle from Remo Drums, a bag piper, Alesia Humphries sang the National Anthem, drummers drumming and a tribute video about 9/11 and the I Will campaign. Food this year was donated by Firehouse Subs. HandsOn Santa Clarita hopes to see you all again next year. For more information about HandsOn Santa Clarita, go to www.handsonscv.org.
