Preparing Your Home for Fall
As the leaves change outside, keep in mind that those changing colors can be perfect for fall inspired décor. It doesn’t have to be a complicated or costly adventure to put a little harvest welcome into your home.
A wreath is a perfect way to tie in fall décor to not only your front door but also mantles, walls, and more! Using a matching floral and gourd garland will really put you in the mood for a pumpkin spice tea.
A playful splash of color from a couple of fall printed tea towels placed in your kitchen among a fresh pumpkin and bowl of bright gourds will put you in the mood for entertaining friends and family. Burn that apple spice candle and you’ll be ready for pie!
The cool creamy whites mixed in with the warm reds and golden yellows in a table runner or placemats are sure to welcome the family to the table. Fill a glass vase with small branches with different colors of leaves and you have set the table for a cool autumn dinner.
Even just pulling out a cozy throw and a pumpkin scented candle is a good reminder that summer is finally over. As you decorate your home to usher in the season, imagine the cozy moments you’ll share with the people around you.
