Volunteers Galore

On Saturday, September 12th this event was the second part to the HandsOn Santa Clarita 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance. HandsOn Santa Clarita organized a bunch of service projects providing tons of volunteers to clean up the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley and the Domestic Violence Center of SCV. HandsOn Santa Clarita also went to SRD Straightening Reins to help them paint and update their facility. Help the Children was another that was involved. HandsOn Santa Clarita set up donation locations at varies grocery stores around town to gather food for the children. HandsOn Santa Clarita also had local schools do a food drive to make Military Packaging at the American Legion. HandsOn Santa Clarita’s vision is to lead the Santa Clarita Valley’s non- profit community through the advancement of community involvement by way of advocacy, education, and volunteerism.
