What’s Your Best Holiday Recipe?

This year will be the first year I am coming home for the holidays after leaving for college. One of the things I look forward to most is sharing my holiday memories and traditions with family members I haven’t seen in months. When I think of the holidays, I anticipate the overwhelming red lipstick kisses on my forehead, the endless questions of what my future entails.
The holidays are a time of reflection, and a time for us to truly appreciate the little things around us. As we all gather around the table, I can imagine the sea of endless desserts, stuffing, ham, and turkey spread across the table, all threatening to send me into a food coma. We’ll serve up our family favorites, our traditional dishes, and maybe some new ones. And I know each bite won’t disappoint!
As the holiday season rolls around, The Magazine of Santa Clarita is asking for your best family recipes for the holidays. We want to know how you prepare your best stuffed turkey or your favorite holiday dessert! Perhaps you’ll send us something that’s new to your holiday table or the recipe that’s been passed down for generations.
