An Affair to Remember
Town Center Drive felt more like a party than a shopping mall on October 18 as SCV’s business and community leaders came together to support Soroptimist International of Greater SCV’s The Wine Affair annual fundraiser. Eleven venues along the main entrance to Westfield Valencia Town Center opened their doors to food and wine vendors, and the event’s largest crowd in the event’s three-year run. Guests could sample, sip, shop and donate as they participated in raffles and mingled with friends. The afternoon was a welcome way to support the non-profit’s mission: to improve the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment. A portion of the proceeds will go toward supporting SIGSCV programs and delivering their mission. Participating venues included: Entourage Hair Studio (VIP), Ro Ma Jewelers (VIP), Apollo’s Barber Shop, The Vines Restaurant, Salt Creek Grille, Fifty-Six Clothing, Angl, The Ivy Day Spa, Valencia Wine Co., Color Me Mine, Blo-Out Lounge, The Open Book and Pottery Barn.
