An Evening with Adrian Buckaroogirl
Adrian, also known as the Buckaroogirl, is a force of nature! She’s an exuberant, dynamic, talented, singer/songwriter with an infectious positive attitude and a powerful voice. Come see her Santa Clarita Valley show November 19 at the Repertory East Playhouse at 8 p.m.
Equally at home roping calves in the branding pen as she is on stage in front of thousands of fans, she takes her listeners deep into the lives and challenges faced by cowboys and ranchers through songs that reflect her experiences growing up on ranches throughout the west.
Western Horseman Magazine has called her the “buckaroo’s Taylor Swift” and has chosen her song, “The Will James Days,” from her first CD, Highway 80, as one of the 13 Best Western Songs of All Times. Adrian’s second CD, Boots and Pearls, was produced by Tom Russell.
“I heard the clear potential. I was impressed that she has such a great voice and was so at ease on stage,” Russell said in The Cowboy Way Magazine. “Adrian is the breath of strong fresh air that the cowboy music scene needs. I was honored to have worked with her.”
Ranch and Reata Magazine writes about her third CD: “Buckaroogirl is a gift to all of us who enjoy real Western music. She is in fact the real deal.”
And her new songs “reflect my experiences and those of the cowboys I work with and live around,” Adrian said.
General admission tickets cost $20; members of WMA, WMACC, SCVHS, FOHP and BASC can purchase tickets for $17. Will call and doors open at 7 p.m.
