Holiday Time at Barn & Charm

 November is here, and everyone is in full holiday mode!  Just nine months old, the go-to holiday shop Barn & Charm is quickly becoming a favorite of many awesome customers!
Just before Barn & Charm opened, I was partner in The Painted Shutter on Main Street … yes, that was me too!  Many customers come in expressing how sad they were that the store closed, not realizing we are one in the same.
As sole owner of Barn & Charm, I feel a connection to all our customers who leave with unique items for adorning walls or the garden, or even one of our fabulous furniture pieces.  We have so many repeat customers it’s impossible not to form bonds with them.  Most sales are items that customers have been searching for and wouldn’t settle until just the right one was found.  It’s truly a hunt, and we love to be part of it!  Of course many of our customer just know it when they see it!
With six other dealers in the store, we are truly a creative team of different tastes and trends.  We complement each other well to offer a little bit of everything, from beautiful vintage rings to rusted wagons and fine wood furniture.  As a dealer of American Paint Company Chalk/Clay paints, DIY Paint products, Heirloom Traditions and Vintiques Paints, we have a wide selection of finishes for the DIYer, and we offer custom finishes from myself, as well as Joy and Brian Marlow.  We are here to customize one of our furniture pieces for you.  Or bring us your treasured items, and we will create your vision.

Vintage is our specialty, but you can find so many options for your special holiday gifts.  Check out our popular line of recycled canvas totes, candles for your vintage gal and items for quirky guy.  We are adding a “card cubby” for beautiful greeting cards to “OH NO, can they really say that?”  We will quickly become your stop to find that perfect card to go with a totally special gift.  Complete gift packaging always.
Visit us on November 21 for the Tree Lighting at the Old Town Newhall Library, and join us for SipNShop from 3-6 p.m.  Have a sip of Pulchella’s fine wines with each retailer featuring a different variety.  This day will also be our unveiling of our “one of a kind” Vintage Christmas Décor!  Sip and Shop into the evening … see you then!  “Looking forward to helping you make your holidays bright,”said Carol Reesha.
