SCCS Defeats Trinity in First-Ever “Faith Bowl”

by | Nov 1, 2015 | On The Town

On Saturday, October 10 Santa Clarita Christian School defeated cross-town rival Trinity Classical Academy 42-18 in the inaugural “Faith Bowl” at Canyon High School.
The stands were packed. There were prayers, fellowship, an MVP award for Santa Clarita Christian receiver Michael Uribe and a trophy presentation for Santa Clarita Christian School presented by The Master’s College.
“The Faith Bowl is something we hope continues every year,” said SCCS Head Coach Garrick Moss.
Prior to the game there was a tailgate party sponsored by The Sanctuary, Real Life Church, Church on the Way, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Chronic Taco.  This was the first time SCCS and Trinity have played since 2010 when SCCS won an eight-man game 46-0.
