SCV Senior Center Golf Classic
We could not have had a more perfect day with beautiful weather, fabulous sponsors, and energetic golfers, all to benefit the SCV Senior Center at the SCV Senior Center Golf Classic. The morning kicked off with Jack FM “playing what they want” and suppling Jack FM give-aways along with Egg Plantation providing delicious breakfast burritos and mimosas.
The mission of the SCV Senior Center is to promote quality of life for seniors. The center is a vital place that serves meals prepared by a Le Cordon Bleu trained chef, provides classes ranging from computer training to Zumba, and continues to provide ongoing support to adults caring for their aging parents. None of this work would happen without the monumental hours that are provided by our dedicated volunteers.
The volunteers of the SCV Senior Center as very committed; from the board of directors, to the fund raising committee chairs, to the 50+ home delivered meal drivers, to the volunteers that come in each day to assist with day to day operations. The golf committee chairs, Sue Endress and Chris Chegwin lead the charge for the SCV Senior Center Golf Classic. “We would like to again thank our generous sponsors; Chiquita Canyon, L/B/W/ Insurance & Financial Services, Sue Endress Farmers Insurance, Gerard Cosmetics/Whitening Lightening, Lucille’s Smokehouse BBQ, Oakmont, Egg Plantation, Anheuser Busch, JACK FM, Skycrest Graphics, Applied GA, Salt Creek Grille, Firehouse Subs, DW Cookie Company, Newhall Ice, AFLAC, All Clean Solar, Andy Gump, SCV Commercial Real Estate, Steven B.
