Packed House Enjoys Sunset in the Vineyard
Fine wines and good company is what Sunset in the Vineyard is all about, and this year’s event did not disappoint. Assistance League of Santa Clarita celebrated its annual fundraiser to raise support for programs held throughout the year. The unforgettable afternoon was held in the homes of Jeannie, Chris and Tim Carpenter, at the beautiful Compa Vineyard. After two long months of harvest, attendees were able to taste many of our valley’s fine locally made wines, DeRobertis Family Artisan Cheese and fresh baked breads from Speakeasy Bakery. Guests were also able to taste craft brews from VNTBC Nano Brewery and Copperhill Brewery. Chefs Cindy Schwanke and Michelle Razzano from the Canyons Institute of Culinary Education were making wood-fired pizzas while listening to live music by Wheelhouse.
