A New Year, A New Smile
Happy New Years! Hard to believe 2015 is already over and 2016 is upon us. This New Year’s resolution, we should all be focusing on our health. And, I am not just talking about diet and exercise but also the health of our teeth. Hopefully you used up any remaining insurance benefits before December 31st, as these benefits do not roll over into the New Year. For most dental insurances, January is when your benefits start over. If you have a Flexible Spending Account, most likely this will start over as well January 1st.
We all know how quickly our New Year’s resolutions come and go, especially when it comes to our health, we’d rather spend our money elsewhere. Start this year off right by seeing your Dental Hygienist for routine cleanings every three to six months. If you have any needed left over treatment from last year, make an appointment with your dentist to take care of before it progresses into something much worse. This is why it is important to see your dentist as well as hygienist on a regular basis. If not caught early enough, a no big deal cavity could turn into a very expensive crown and even a root canal.
Let’s kick off this New Year with a sparkling healthy smile! If you have any questions about maximizing your insurance benefits this year, please give our office a call. We would love to get to know you and help with any dental concerns you may have.
For more information, please call Kimberly A. Rosen, D.D.S. at 661-255-2545. The office is located at 27420 Tourney Road, Suite 270 in Valencia.
