Bringing People Together One Café at a Time – The Glow Spot Cafe

 With experience in the non-profit and business sectors, The Glow Spot Café Co-owners Nara and Elina have a unique set of combined skills that make them the perfect duo to run a family-friendly neighborhood café.  With an added passion for cooking, they also offer a combined 15 years of experience in the food industry!
Elina was born and raised in San Francisco, where her parents ran a restaurant business.  She brings her knowledge of event organization to the table after years of work in the non-profit industry.  Through her charity work, she has helped organize various kids events, which involved catering, organizing games and coordinating events for the organizations.  Nara, on the other hand, brings 10 years of business management experience to the table and adds a fresh new outlook.  Together, they have now joined forces to introduce The Glow Spot Café to the Santa Clarita Valley!
“Having lived in the Santa Clarita Valley for over 12 years, we love the SCV and have embraced the community with our businesses,” said co-owner Nara.  “Our children attend local schools, and we love the area and the people.  It’s a great place to raise a family!”
The Glow Spot Café offers fundraising opportunities for schools, youth groups, athletic teams, churches and temples, animal rescue agencies, and any organizations interested in fundraising, as well.  To book your fundraising event, please email theglowspot@yahoo.com with the organization name, type of organization, contact person, phone number, best time to call and email address. They can help you run a fast, fun and easy event that allows you to keep 20 percent of the sales!
Beside the added benefit of supporting community groups through fundraisers, families can feel good about eating at The Glow Spot Café because of its focus on health.  Everything on the menu is made from scratch with fresh ingredients to serve healthy, quality meals to their customers.
“Good food brings people together.  Food nourishes our bodies, and the togetherness nourishes our souls,” said owners Nara and Elina.
The future is bright for The Glow Spot Café.  Elina and Nara have plans for the future and are looking to expand their business with family-orientated “glow in the dark” activities including: painting with glow in the dark paints, art activities, karaoke, and more coming soon!
