Fourth Annual Charity Event Benefits Children’s Hospital Los Angeles

by | Jan 1, 2016 | On The Town

Community members laced up and hit the lanes for the Fourth Annual Bowling for Kids Charity Event, benefitting Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.  From expert bowlers to novices, community members partnered up to help raise money and raise awareness on Sunday, December 13.  Longtime Santa Clarita resident Taylor Kellstorm and the SCV Book Exchange partnered with Valencia Lanes to host the event, which included a 50/50 raffle, silent auction, bowling and toy donations.  Silent auction items included:  tickets for local events, tickets to an L.A. Lakers game, UCLA football tickets, L.A. Kings gear, gift cards and more!  Each year, 100 percent of the proceeds are donated to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit institution that provides pediatric health care to more than 107,000 children each year in a setting designed just for their needs.
