Thanks-KiK-ving was a great success

KiKstart had a concert on November 20, 2015 called “Thanks-KiK-ving” not only to raise funds and food for the SCV Food Pantry, but also to give thanks for all the blessings that came their way throughout the year.
The girls donated $750.00 from ticket sales to the Food Pantry. Lead vocalist/keyboardist Kalia Javan said, “It feels so awesome to be able to do something good. We just can’t wait to be bigger so we can raise so much more and help a lot more charitable organizations.”
Everyone had a blast that night including the little ones – some of whom even came up on stage to deliver a joke or two – as well as a few walk-ins who were just picking up some pizza, but when they heard KiKstart, decided to pay the admission fee and watch the show. “Whenever we do a show, it feels like we’re performing in front of family because that’s what it is – our KiKsters are family.” Says vocalist/drummer Keeli Javan.
