Celebrity Sightings – February 2016
Attention! Celebrities have been spotted in the Santa Clarita Valley!
The Mamarazzi makes her first appearance in front of the camera this month. Our very own former Associate Editor Stephanie Struyck Elgin and her boyfriend Eric Cullen met longtime meteorologist Dallas Raines. Dallas Raines is an American award-winning chief meteorologist at KABC-TV in Los Angeles and a certified American Meteorologist. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University where he studied broadcast journalism and earth science with an emphasis on meteorology. Several of his awards include the Daily News People’s Choice Award for Best Weatherperson, Man of the Year by the American Cancer Society, Golden Mike Award for Best Weathercast and Associated Press Award for Best Weather Segment.
Santa Clarita’s very own Evan Hannemann, who played young Ben in the recently released Fantastic Four movie, took a picture with his cast members: Owen Judge, who played young Reed; and Michael B. Jordan, who played Johnny Storm, better known as The Human Torch. Fantastic Four is an American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name. Development of the film began back in 2009 when Fox announced their big plans to reboot the Fantastic Four Franchise. The original Fantastic Four movie was released back in 2005 with Ioan Gruffudd, Chris Evans, Michael Chiklis and Jessica Alba.
Whether you are out and about at the mall or dining at your favorite restaurant, the stars are in Santa Clarita!
