Share the Warmth this Winter!
At Shelter Hope Pet Shop, we not only work with rescues and shelters to help rehome adoptable pets, but we are also a non-profit retail shop which focuses on giving back to the community and providing services and products for the pets we love.
All dogs can learn to sit and focus side-by-side off-leash at A Paw Above Dog Training’s puppy classes now being held at Shelter Hope Pet Shop! Learn the tools and techniques to help make every dog a good canine citizen!
Warm Hearts Project provides a free fleece sweater to small shelter dogs for every Warm Hearts sweater purchased at Shelter Hope Pet Shop. Their mission is to keep the smaller shelter dogs warm through the winter months. By providing a warm snug “hug” of the fleece coats, they strive to give them a sense of security which helps keep them calm. They also find pets are more appealing to the potential adopter because they become more than just another dog in the shelter system. They just outfitted several lucky dogs at our local Castaic Shelter!
The number of dogs in shelters is growing daily to the point of overcrowding and sadly, dogs are suffering from a lack of proper nutrition and care. It’s their mission at DOG for DOG to feed as many shelter dogs as possible. When you buy DOG for DOG food and treats at Shelter Hope Pet Shop, they give another equal bag to a shelter dog in need!
We can’t do it alone! If you are unable to adopt, then volunteer… If you are unable to volunteer, then foster… If you are unable to foster, then shop at Shelter Hope Pet Shop and support animal rescue while treating your pets!
