The Dashing Bullshot Crummond Graces to the CTG Stage

 The dizzily hilarious Bullshot Crummond opens at the Canyon Theatre Guild at the end of the month and you don’t want to miss it! This spoof of a low-budget 1930s detective movie follows in the footsteps of so many successful comedies produced by the Canyon Theatre Guild and directed by master director Mr. Randy Aronson.
It all begins as the German supervillain Otto Von Bruno and his femme fatale sidekick Lenya crash their plane in the English countryside. Their mission? To kidnap the absent-minded Professor Fenton, developer of a secret formula for making synthetic diamonds, wring the formula from him, which will ensure them eventual world domination.  Captain Hugh “Bullshot” Crummond—a dashing and somewhat eccentric British officer (a man with “a nose for intrigue” and all round spiffing chap), is called to the rescue by the professor’s winsome daughter Rosemary to foil the dastardly duo’s evil scheme.
As these two arch rivals clash, a madcap tale ensues—filled with more disguises, plot twists, and general mayhem than you can shake a stick at!  All clues point to an evening of sight gags, slapstick, and some serious silliness!  Will Crummond triumph? Or will Von Bruno finally trip him up for good? Will Crummond fall for the lovely Rosemary Fenton, or succumb to the wiles of Lenya Otto’s scintillatingly evil mistress?  If you are looking to spend an evening laughing till it hurts, then Bullshot Crummond is the show for you at the Canyon Theatre Guild!
