Educating Our Seniors on Hearing Loss

 On Wednesday, February 3, Nola Aronson, M.A., of Advanced Audiology held a seminar at the Senior Center in Newhall for the community on hearing loss.
The purpose of the seminar was to teach about hearing loss and ways to effectively communicate with someone with a hearing problem.
Everyone present was treated to a film presentation and given materials on hearing loss. A questionnaire survey was given and a drawing for the chance to win a free dinner for two was awarded.
Hearing evaluations were also performed for the attendees.  Refreshments were served and a drawing for lunch was presented to two lucky participants!
Advanced Audiology is the largest diagnostic center in Santa Clarita. They have served the Santa Clarita Valley for 30 years.  In 2014 they were awarded the Community Champion of the Year Award and the Chamber of Commerce Small Business Award for 2015!
