Ranch Round-Up Ropes In the Community Kids, parents and community leaders enjoy a day of fun and compassion

Local non-profit SRD-Straightening Reins roped in lots of community support and smiles at the Ranch Round-Up fundraiser on February 6. A huge success, the event featured playtime with animals, ranch games, raffles, awards, live entertainment from Rebel Heart and a hearty barbecue lunch. Attendees kicked up the dust with a rockin’ good time as the whole family played horseshoes and billiards. Guests could also participate in an equine-assisted therapy exercise, to experience the benefits of SRD’s services firsthand.
SRD-Straightening Reins is a non-profit ranch off of San Francisquito Canyon Road that offers equine-assisted learning, interactive therapies and a safe place for children, to establish a place of healing, positive choices and infinite possibilities.
