University of La Verne to Offer Accounting Program at University Center
The University of La Verne (ULV) has partnered with College of the Canyons to begin offering a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting program at the Dr. Dianne G. Van Hook University Center.
The ULV Bachelor of Arts in Accounting program will be offered in an accelerated format as a cohort with students able to enroll during the spring 2016, summer 2016 and fall 2016 semesters.
Classes will meet one evening per week, with two courses completed each semester.
The ULV Bachelor of Arts in Accounting program will provide students with a well-rounded, in-depth understanding of accounting theory and practices, while developing skills in critical thinking, problem solving, decision making, communication and the use of cutting-edge technology.
Graduates will leave with the educational training needed to pursue a wide range of employment opportunities within the accounting industry, including careers in public, industry, government and non-profit organizations.
“These classes are designed for working adults, so students can work and go to school at the same time,” said Debra Hrboka, Associate Director of Admissions at ULV.
Applications will be accepted for several months.
ULV also offers a full range of accelerated bachelor’s and master’s degree programs at the University Center, including:
• B.A. in Business Administration
• B.S. in Organizational Management
• Master of Business Administration
• Master of Science in Leadership Management
