Gentlemen For A Cause 5th Annual Fundraiser
On Sunday March 6, Soroptimist International of Santa Clarita Valley held their 5th annual Gentlemen For A Cause event at The Activity Center. Attendees enjoyed a night of music, “Wine and Whisky”, and were able to bid on raffle baskets that were donated by many local businesses such as Wundabar, The Ivy Day Spa, and Cycle Up just to name a few! SISCV also featured a Mario Lopez dream package for bidders to spend a day with the actor on set and go on a luncheon for two
This year all the donations will go to non-profits such as S.E.W, where they work with Single Mother’s Outreach, the Domestic Violence Center, and College of the Canyons Charter College. Soroptimist works each year with the Domestic Violence Center of Santa Clarita Valley to adopt a family in need for the holidays, and also help fund the Live Your Dream program. The awards improve the lives of women by giving them the resources they need to improve their education, skills and employment prospects.
