Hart District Students Win National Awards at STN
Twenty-seven students from four different schools in the William S. Hart Union High School District won honors at the annual Student Television Network Conference in Atlanta, GA.
A total of three First Place awards went to the four schools, along with a third and five Honorable mentions.
West Ranch
1st Place – Anchoring – Avery Schroeder, Josie Lionetti, Nelson Poole
1st Place – Movie Editing – Alex Burdsall and Eddy Park for their movie “Connections”
3rd Place – Movie Trailer – Alex Burdsall, Eddy Park, Caden Cerulle
Honorable Mention – Crazy 8 Broadcast (entire WRTV crew produced a full broadcast in 8 hours)
Golden Valley
1st Place – Crazy 8’s Best Unscripted Talk Show – Jordan Nunn, Ja’Corey Bowens, Emily Holmes, Zach Andrews, Samantha Sharaf, Eduardo Martinez, Ryan Lopez
Saugus:
Honorable Mention – Movie Trailer – Harrison Ta, Cristian Vuola, Danny Diaz

Over 2600 students from nearly 200 high schools across the nation participated. In addition to the competition, the four-day event offered professional breakout sessions from active professionals in the film and broadcast industry.
