Celebrating Spring

 Green Thumb Garden Center held it’s annual Spring Opening on Saturday, March 26.  The public was treated to refreshments, hourly drawings, vendor demonstrations and seminars.  Free hand pruner sharpening was given to the first 15 customers and Hand Tool Sharpening by Accurate Edge was available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
It was a lovely, warm Spring day enjoyed by all in attendance, and it was the perfect day to buy flowers and plants for your garden and yards. Julie Mollnaire from The Grass Is Always Greener spoke on colorful water wise plants.  L &L Nursery Supply also demonstrated their Dirt Pot, a flexible, portable planter. There were demonstrations from Monrovia Growers and Green As it Gets.
Green Thumb Garden Center is in its 46th year and offers a nursery, garden center, garden gifts, patio furniture and holiday items.
