Framing for Mother’s Day

 The days and years go by and suddenly our children are grown.  We wonder how the time passed so quickly and find ourselves wishing we could slow it down just a little.  Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to capture a few of those moments in time forever?  Photographs capture that special moment letting us go back and relive it over and over with a glance.
For Mother’s Day this year, you might consider framing some of those special moments and getting them up on the wall where they can be enjoyed for a lifetime.  A collage of favorite photos of your children makes a wonderful gift that will be treasured for years to come.  If your children are small, now is the time to take those photos and get them framed and on the wall where you won’t lose them or forget about them.  If your children are now grown and off to college or maybe even out on their own, then it is the perfect time to gather up those photos of days gone by and get those memories framed and preserved for Mom to enjoy.  Another idea might be to frame those plaster handprints you have of the kids in a shadow box.  You might consider framing their first pair of baby shoes or the spoons they first used.  Not only would these heirlooms be enjoyed today, but they could be passed on for generations to come.  There are, of course, many other things that can be framed for Mother’s Day.  Perhaps there is a painting or a print that she has been admiring.  Or, maybe she has something special that belonged to her Mother that she would like framed or placed in a shadow box.
