Sulphur Springs Union School District’s Open Houses
We are excited to announce Open House dates for the elementary schools within the Sulphur Springs Union School District. Come see our students’ amazing work!
• Golden Oak, Mint Canyon, Mitchell, Pinetree Community Schools on May 19
• Canyon Springs, Fair Oaks Ranch, Leona Cox, Sulphur Springs and Valley View Community Schools on May 26
Registration for 2016-17 is also taking place now. Registration will be held at the school to which your address is currently assigned. To register a child for transitional kindergarten or kindergarten, it will be necessary to have the following documentation:
• A birth certificate or other official document verifying the child’s birth date. According to California State law, a child must have been born between September 2 and December 2, 2011 to enter transitional kindergarten.
• A child must have been born on or before September 1, 2011 to enter kindergarten.
• Immunizations: Proof of MMR (including proof of second MMR), Polio, D.P.T. and Hepatitis B, Varicella (Chicken Pox)
• Two proof of residency verifications (driver’s license, utility bill)
The Sulphur Springs Union School District is also having Open Enrollment, beginning through May 15, 2016 for all Intra and Inter District Transfers for the 2016-17 school year. If you wish to request a transfer to any of our nine elementary schools, you may receive the necessary form from your home school or district office.
