Valley View Community School (TK-Sixth Grade)
Valley View is the heart of our neighborhood and serves a diverse and beautiful community. As our name proclaims our school commands a spectacular view of much of our city and we would be worthy of your visit for the view alone. Our nine-acre school site is among the largest elementary school in the City of Santa Clarita and we are proud and pleased to share our park like playgrounds, soccer field and baseball diamond with our neighbors.
We are proud of our diverse Valley View community. Their support of unique school wide events, special assemblies, fall and summer festivals, and targeted volunteer hours enrich a healthy school culture and learning environment. At Valley View, our students know that adults care about them and that their education is important. We are most thankful for our parents’ leadership and support of Valley View PTA, which provides arts enrichment; including creative movement and music for ALL students.
As you can see in our photo, we have a great deal to be excited and thankful for. This summer we complete the construction of our new $13.4 million, 33,000 sq. ft., two-story, 300 ft. long building to be used and enjoyed by our special education team, general education grade levels, and a very beautiful state of the art home for our new library. We very much look forward to occupying our building this summer and starting our 2016-17 school year in brand new classrooms.
Finally, we want you to know of our SMART Classrooms with unequalled classroom instructional technology, Coding & Robotics Lab, Computer Lab, Science Lab, S.T.E.A.M. curriculum, and after-school enrichment. It is wonderful to see our sixth grade students collaboratively researching, with one-to-one iPads, and engaging in project based authentic learning opportunities while synthesizing and communicating interactively with Google.docs. It is more fun to witness our youngest TK students, coding and programming their robots.
